The Gypsum Association is a not-for-profit trade association established in 1930.
To be eligible for membership, a firm or individual must manufacture gypsum board under the provisions of ASTM Standard C1396. The Gypsum Association is located in the Washington, D.C., metro area. It represents manufacturers of gypsum board in the U.S. and Canada and provides technical information and assistance to the construction industry, standards setting bodies, and the code enforcement community.
